Roaches Eat My Pizza · effective 5 august 2026
Privacy policy
The short version: the game is a swarm of roaches and a pizza. It has no account, no server of ours to talk to, and nothing to sell you. The one thing that leaves your phone is a Game Center score, and that goes to Apple under your own Apple Account. Here is the slightly longer version.
1. What we collect
Nothing. The game has no account system, no analytics SDK, no advertising identifiers, no ads and no third-party SDKs of any kind. It never asks you for a name, an email or an age, and it never asks the phone for your camera, your photos, your contacts or your location. We could not tell you who our players are, and we like it that way.
2. Where your progress lives
Your save — Scales, upgrade ranks, best scores, daily streak, the arena and skins you have equipped — and your settings are written as ordinary files inside the game's own folder on your device. They are not synced to us, because there is no us to sync to: the game contains no networking code at all beyond Apple's Game Center.
3. Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, the game posts your scores to its leaderboards and your progress towards its achievements. That data goes to Apple, attached to your Apple Account and shown under whatever nickname Game Center has for you. It is covered by Apple's privacy policy, not this one — we can read a leaderboard the same way any player can, and nothing more.
Signed out is a normal way to play, not an error. Nothing is queued, nothing is retried, and no sign-in prompt blocks a run: the whole game works with Game Center switched off in iOS Settings, and the moment you do sign in, your existing bests and achievements are posted in one go.
4. What the game costs
It is free at launch, and it has no in-app purchases, no subscription and no currency you can buy. Scales are earned by playing and cannot be bought at any price. There is no transaction between you and us, so there is nothing about your payment details for us to see. If the price ever changes, Apple handles the money and sends us an anonymous sales report — never your name, your email or your card.
5. Support email
If you write to support, we keep the thread so we can help you, and we delete it after 12 months. We never add you to a mailing list without asking.
6. Who else sees any of this
Apple, and only because Apple runs Game Center, the App Store and the frameworks the game is built on. There are no analytics providers, no ad networks, no third-party SDKs and no parent or sibling company with access to anything. We share your data with no one, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train anything. If that ever changed we would only work with someone bound to protect your data at least as well as this policy does — and we would say so here before it happened, not after.
7. Keeping and deleting
We hold nothing of yours to delete, because nothing you do in the game ever reaches us. Your save stays on your device for as long as you keep the game; deleting the app deletes it, and there is no copy anywhere else to survive that.
Your Game Center scores and achievements are held by Apple, so they outlive the app on your phone. Sign out or switch Game Center off in Settings → Game Center to stop the game posting anything further, and use Apple's own Data and Privacy site to ask Apple to delete what it holds — it is Apple's record, not ours, so it is Apple who can erase it. Support threads are the one thing we do hold, and we delete those after 12 months — or sooner, if you ask us to.
8. Taking permission back
There is nothing to take back, because the game asks for no permissions: no camera, no photos, no location, no notifications, no tracking prompt. The one thing you can switch off is Game Center, in Settings → Game Center, and the game keeps working exactly as before with it off — the game's own settings screen will simply report it as unavailable. Your save is untouched either way.
9. Children
The game is not directed at children and never asks anyone their age — it never asks anyone anything. We don't knowingly collect data from anybody, children included. Game Center on a child's account is governed by Apple's family settings, and turning it off there turns it off here.
10. Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version appears here with a new effective date. Given how little we collect, changes should be rare and boring.
